The Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society is a registered charity and not-for-profit membership organization.

Our primary role is to serve as a dynamic link between the museum and the community through the following programs and events:

Mission & Vision

FRAMS is an independent community organization that supports and enhances the goals and activities of the Royal Alberta Museum through a mutually beneficial relationship.

This relationship focuses on:

  • Building a dynamic community in support of the Royal Alberta Museum’s objectives of education and research.
  • Supporting Royal Alberta Museum’s vision to foster wonder, inquiry and new understandings about Alberta and its place in the world.
  • Augmenting Royal Alberta Museum’s objectives and vision by reaching and inspiring Alberta’s communities through public engagement, celebrating historic moments, and gifting artifacts of significance to Alberta’s heritage.

FRAMS is a member of The Canadian Federation of Friends of Museums (CFFM). Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society is registered with Canada Revenue Agency.
