Talk & Tours

The Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society offers exclusive and unique events like Talk & Tours for our FRAMS members.

We’re Welcoming Back Talk & Tours!

We invite you to join us for an old-fashioned quilt bed-turning event with Lucie Heins, acting curator of Daily Life and Leisure at the Royal Alberta Museum (RAM). Lucie will be sharing the history of select quilts from the RAM collection vault, including several quilts featured in her book: Alberta Quiltmakers and their Quilts.

Event dates & times:
Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10:30 am; 12:30 pm; 2:30 pm and
Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10:30 am & 1:00 pm
Event duration: 1 hour
Location: Roundhouse at Royal Alberta Museum
Cost: FREE for FRAMS members; members of the public: $5
Capacity: Limited to 25 places per bed-turning session.

Members enjoy and value these private museum tours. Being able to ask questions and speak one-on-one with a curator enables our members to truly experience an inside look at the museum and its exhibitions.
