For over 35 years, the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society has built a community that encourages deeper engagement and connection with the Royal Alberta Museum. With the support of our community, FRAMS funds a variety of important programs that support access and activities at the Royal Alberta Museum.
Our Indigenous Student Museum Internship (ISMI) Program is a 16-week paid internship for First Nations, Métis and Inuit post-secondary students. The Friends play a major role in hiring and funding summer students who work in the Museum through grant programs.
FRAMS is proud to support the acquisition of artifacts, collections and treasures, their preservation and the interpretative exhibits that tell their stories at the Royal Alberta Museum.
